Vendor Rules & Regulations

As stated in your lease, you must notify Building Management of any and all plans for proposed suite alterations – including work performed by any trades such as painting, electrical work, drywall, lighting modifications, carpeting, redecorating, etc. - prior to commencement of work.

As is standard in downtown Chicago, all Contractors and Movers performing work at One Two Pru must be union-affiliated companies. Once the proposed scope of work has been reviewed and approved by Building Management, all contractors and vendors must provide a certificate of insurance prior to the commencement of any work. This includes any tradespeople, movers, delivery personnel, food deliveries, copier mechanics, etc. The building’s insurance requirements can be downloaded from the Forms section of the website.

There may be special instances when vendors or contractors need to perform work in your suite during non-business hours. In such instances, please provide written notification to the Office of the Building, which states the name(s) of the individual(s), the company, the date they will be coming, the approximate time, and a Certificate of Insurance with Endorsement. A brief description of the work to be done should also be included.

Depending on the nature of the work being performed, building personnel may be required to be onsite. Charges for personnel will be charged back to the Tenant.
